How do I use it?

Incorporate words they are learning into your activities—you can often find lots of emotions that could be useful in improvisation or theater, shapes to use in dance, colors to use in visual art, and adjectives to use in anything! Ask the Classroom Teachers if you can incorporate vocabulary the students are learning in your residency onto the wall. Including a visual alongside the written word can help students with learning or developmental disabilities as well as multilingual learners.
