Lindsey Buller Maliekel

Lindsey Buller Maliekel, Director of Education & Public Engagement at the leading arts nonprofit New 42 in New York City, is recognized as a global expert on family play and performing arts engagement. She oversees the New 42 Youth Corps, a model youth development and employment program, and Family Engagement at the New Victory Theater, where she oversees the venue’s free lobby activities for more than a dozen shows on the New Victory stage. This robust family engagement before and after every show changes to reflect the art forms and themes on stage, encouraging theatergoers to make meaningful connections to the performing arts. Most recently, Lindsey has worked with research firm WolfBrown to lead a longitudinal study on the intrinsic impact of arts on kids.
