Meet the GIVE Trainers

Host:

Sofiya Cheyenne is a Teaching Artist, multi-disciplinary performer and Disability Advocate/Consultant. She is the Inclusion Director of Little People of America, Co-Chair of The Dwarf Artist Coalition and also part of the Disability Advisory Council for ART NY, where she continually advocates for people of short stature on and off the stage. اورجانیے.

Special guests:

ایریل لیور is an Arts Administrator/Theater Artist/Teaching Artist, who focuses a great deal of her energy around accessibility in theater. She is currently the Project Manager of Supporting Transitions at MAC, which promotes the inclusion of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities at cultural institutions. She is a co-founder and Teaching Artist at CO/LAB Theater Group. Learn more. 

Andrew Strano is an Australian multidisciplinary theatre maker living and working in New York. They’re a Fulbright Scholar, a NYFA City Artists Corps member, and a member of the Theater Now New York Musical Theater Writers Lab. Andrew’s strong focus on pedagogy, accessibility in the arts, and innovation in arts education has seen them teach for theatres, universities, and schools worldwide. Learn More. 

Jashua Sa-Ra is an award-winning performance poet, author, event producer, host, lecturer, playwright, educator, graphic designer, and percussionist. He has produced and hosted several critically acclaimed performance events, including a festival in Brooklyn, NY, concerts, open mic venues, showcases, slams, and a variety of special events.
