جيرون هيرمان

Jerron Herman is a dancer, writer, moderator, and advocate for the arts who is compelled to disrupt ideas of restriction with images of freedom. Originally finding his way to dance through his background as a playwright he was a principal member of Heidi Latsky Dance, an integrated dance company, from 2011 to 2019. He’s recently joined Kinetic Light, an innovative Disabled-led collective, as a collaborator. Herman’s performances have been experienced at Lincoln Center, The Whitney Museum, Danspace Project, and Performance Space New York. His latest works include: Breaking and Entering with Molly Joyce; Many Ways to Raise a Fist, for the 29th Anniversary of the ADA at the Whitney Museum; and Relative—a crip dance party—for the disabled-led arts festival i wanna be with you everywhere. As an advocate for disabled athletes and performers, he has collaborated with Nike, Chromat, and Tommy Hilfiger and has produced commissioned projects for Creative Mornings. Herman has served on the Board of Trustees at Dance/USA since 2017. He studied at the Tisch School of the Arts and The King’s College. jerronherman.com
