Mayele Alognon

Mayele Alognon is a visual artist and teaching Artist based in Brooklyn, New York. A graduate of Bates College, Mayele has a bachelor’s degree in studio art and a minor in anthropology. She paints, draws, and animates exploring repetition, fragmentation, and the confusing and murky intersections of identity. Holding on to the belief that art is for everyone, Mayele is proud to be a GIVE teaching artist.
