Andrew Strano

Andrew is an Australian multidisciplinary theatre maker living and working in New York. They’re a Fulbright Scholar, a NYFA City Artists Corps member, and a member of the Theater Now New York Musical Theater Writers Lab. Andrew’s strong focus on pedagogy, accessibility in the arts, and innovation in arts education has seen them teach for theatres, universities, and schools worldwide, including New York University, the National Institute of Dramatic Art, Stage School Australia, Monash University, ArtsConnection, Base Jump Theatre New Zealand, TBC Theatre Scotland, The Improv Conspiracy Australia, Laugh Masters Academy, Harlem School of the Arts and more, as well as right here with GIVE. Andrew studies include musical theatre performance at the Victorian College of the Arts, dance at Danceworld 301, Improvisation at Chicago’s iO Theater and holds an MFA from the NYU Tisch Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program, an MA in writing for performance from the Victorian College of the Arts, Melbourne University. www.andrewstrano.com
