P.泰勒-布里特
P. Tyler Britt (he/him) is a Brooklyn native, Theater Practitioner, Stage Manager, Teaching Artist and Hunter College alumni with a BA in Theater. Deeply invested in the intersectionality of theater and education, he works to craft brave spaces that offer meaningful opportunities for discourse and growth. He is a founding member, writer, producer, director of Adventure Players Live! (a virtual, interactive and educational episodic program for families) and the theater collective ACT. ACT recently participated in Laguardia Performing Art Center’s Rough Draft Festival where they presented a premier excerpt from a piece entitled The Bound Diablo, an all-BIPOC immersive dance/ theater production about moving on–from a relationship, home, country, job, way of thinking, or plane of existence. As an educator P. Tyler has taught throughout NYC for over 15 years with various organizations, and has served as a facilitator for both young people and fellow educators. Some of P. Tyler‘s teaching artistry can be found online via WNET/PBS, Queens & Brooklyn Public Libraries and The New Victory Theater. Currently, P. Tyler is a teaching artist with The New Victory Theater and Disney.
